As the name says, this company truly is above and beyond. I’ve previously had tree work done by another local company and it ended up being a bad experience. This time I hired Above and Beyond to take care of my trees and I was extremely pleased. The crew was very professional from start to finish. The job was done quicker than I had expected and they did an excellent job on the cleanup afterward.I will hire these guys again when I need more work done and I would recommend this company to anyone in need of tree work!

Phenomenal company. They were the only ones to respond to us when we had a very dangerous tree situation - no other tree company even gave us a call back. They really did go above and beyond. We now only use their services for our tree work. Thank you for providing such excellent service

Could not be more impressed with Galen and his crew (Alex, Curtis & Joseph) at Above & Beyond Tree Service - Port Alberni! Galen was incredibly responsive and came out to view and provided a quote the day that I called him. Once I confirmed that I would like to go ahead, they were out within a few days to perform the work. I had one particularly tall, dead tree close to the power lines and the boys took it down meticulously without any mishaps. Professional, conscientious and super friendly. Galen and his team did an amazing job. Fast, efficient, and most of all safe. I would highly recommend this company for any of the services they offer, they are well equipped and professionally staffed.

Pete arrived to lower and trim my cedar hedge. He was very quick and efficient. The branches were all removed, the hedge was trimmed both at the top and along each side to create a very tidy appearance. It also has given my yard much more light. Another bonus is that I now have a beautiful view of the valley mountains. Thanks for wonderful job!Jan

We were looking to get a lot of Alder trees cut down on our property and heard Galen and his crew from Port Alberni were amazing, so I decided to call and get a quote. Galen answerd the phone right away when I called in the evening and was at our house the next day to give us a estimate. The price was extremely reasonable and they were at our house to start the job right when they said they would. They started first thing in the morning and worked their butts off all day. Not only did they do a fantastic job but they did great clean up of our property and our street before they left. The entire crew was friendly and hardworking. I will always give their name out to anyone whos looking for a company who works hard and gets the job done in a timely manner!

Galen offered helpful advice on what trees to remove and keep on my lot. He and his crew were great to work with clearing the lot, even handling my disgruntled neighbour and calling when there was a fire near my property. He made sure I was happy with the work that was done. I would 100% use his services again and have recommended him to others.

Galen is an absolute life saver. Had some major issues with roots comming into my septic tank. Galen came over on a moments notice to remove the problem trees for me. His accuracy falling the trees wad impeccable as i have a neighboring fence he managed to get it to fall perfect between posts so nothing was broken.Thanks again galen!!!!

Truly above and beyond! Galen visited and provided us a quote on the same day we called. Galen and Alex were professional and highly skilled today – we had a large tree removed and they left the grounds clean and tidy. Highly recommend and we'll definitely use Above and Beyond Tree Service again.
